As an official DRM Supporter, MAYAH was the first company to introduce a portable DRM Receiver for digital short, medium and longwave radio. Today, many radio stations worldwide broadcast the DRM format and can be received with the MAYAH DRM Receiver.
The DRM 2010 is a 2nd generation receiver for the Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) standard. It is the result of a joint development effort by MAYAH, Coding Technologies, AFG and Himalaya. The receiver is based on standard components, allowing compacter dimensions and reduced costs. |

During IFA in Berlin a pilot project for DVB-H is being presented. MAYAH CENTAURI Audio Encoders and Streamers are used for Stereo and Multichannel Encoding and Streaming within the DVB-H Multiplex. Many different signals can be received.
DVB-H is based on DVB-T and is backwards compatible. It provides many additional features to support Handheld portable and mobile reception. This is a high attractive and rapidly expanding business segment for content providers and end users.
The DVB-H demonstration can be seen at various stands at IFA, e.g. hall 4.2 projekt future (119), Connect (204), SIEMENS (120), 30.08.2005 International Club, Thüringer Allee 5-11, "Presse round table", 31.08.- 01.09.05.2005 Medienforum Olympiastadion as well as in hall 6.2a DTAG, Business + Customer area, hall 20 at Samsung and hall 5.3 at TWF. |
