MAYAH@ “Big Brother” location in Cologne

January 12 th, 2006 Ali Khan, the presenter of Munich-based Radio Charivari 95.5 went in October to Cologne to give his listeners an authentic feeling of Germany’s greatest television reality show project “Big Brother”. For a week were the two cities closely connected, every night from 23.00 till 1.00. With MAYAH Merk II Portable Audio Codec Mixer the whole mix was transmitted via ISDN from the “Big Brother Village” to the Munich studio.

In the meantime the presenter was listening to the “on air” signal of the radio station, which was routed back to him through the same MAYAH Merk II. Daily audience of Radio Charivari 95.5 exceeds 160.000 listeners, who access their favourite radio station on air as well as via cable or Internet.
