After the great success of the last workshop series, MAYAH announces the up-to-date seminars & workshops on Audio-over-IP in our offices in Hallbergmoos near Munich. More and more broadcasting companies starting or expanding their IP-based transmissions of audio and video signals. The newest methods and "know-hows" to be discussed during the upcoming seminars allow more confident operations in the modern environment, give an extensive overview on the state-of-the-art solutions range, as well as provide a technology outlook in the nearest future of the broadcasting industry.

There are following hot topics of the industry to be discussed:

Audio Coding: Quo Vadis. Overview by representative of Fraunhofer IIS

Live transmission in public networks: Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), basics, practical requirements.

Real-time streaming with ISMA 2.0: protocols & applications.

Demos & group workshops:

·	SIP, UMTS, IP/ISDN Backup & Gateway.
·	Possibilities for simultaneous audio transmission & recording.
·	Resolutions, bit rates and applications of audio video distribution for SNG, STL, MobileTV.

Day 2 (Begins at 9:15)

Secure Media-Transport over IP-Networks, Media Network Quality.
