GANYMED 1102 is fully based on the CENTAURI product family. The focus is to cover Applications in the field of audio-via-IP. In combination with GANYMED 1002 it is a very economic solution in a variety of broadcast IP networks. The Ganymed 1102 is an IP Audio Codec encoding and decoding high quality audio signals into various coding formats and streaming towards other MAYAH Ganymed, CENTAURI or audio player tools, such as Windows Media, Real Player, Winamp and others.

GANYMED 1102 is a 1/2 19” 2 Uhigh product for desktop and rackmount use. Its interfacing supports analog stereo I/O and AES/EBU, SPDIF, ADAT. Its 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet port is used for controlling the device via Telnet, Browser, Windows Remote Software or SNMP as well as for sending and receiving audio.
