BACKUP means

  • main transmission via X.21 or IP and backup via ISDN or
  • main transmission via IP and watching another IP stream in case of failure on the main stream or

DUAL CODEC means

  • Simultaneous transmission between Codec A and Codec B as well as Codec A and Codec C, e.g. with 128 kbps Layer 2 mono or
  • Simultaneous transmission between Codec A and Codec B as well as Codec A and Codec C, e.g. with 64 kbps AAC mono

FLASHCAST means

  • Detection of received audio codec algorithm by sending test patterns and/or analyzing the bit stream. Flashcast works for much more than 90% of the received encoded audio signals. Operators do not have to get involved to get a synchronized connection.

GATEWAY means

  • receiving ISDN and Streaming to a Server or
  • receiving an IP stream with e.g. Layer 2 384kbps stereo and re-encode/stream it with MPEG 4 AAC HE or
  • catching an IP stream AAC HE and sending it via ISDN in Layer 3 to another destination

MULTICHANNEL means

  • transmission of 4xstereo with various algorithms via IP, e.g. Eapt-X or
  • transmission of 5.1 multichannel or 7.1 multichannel via IP or ISDN with various algorithms, e.g. AAC HE

POINT-TO-MULTIPOINT means

  • Distribution of Audio via ISDN to maximum of 8 destinations with e.g. MPEG 4 AAC HE stereo 64kbps or
  • Distribution of Audio via ISDN to e.g. 4 destination with e.g. MPEG 1 Layer 3 stereo 128kbps
