IOCAST 5101/5104 SD Transcoder

The IOCAST 5101 is an advanced, professional transcoder, which converts MPEG-2 audio/video streams to MPEG-4 H.264/AVC streams or the other way round. In addition the IOCAST 5104 can be used as a multitranscoder, it is able to transcode four input streams into multiple output streams. The variable stream setup can create different streams with low bit rates, low latency or maximum quality. Converting MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 H.264 cuts bandwidth by 50%, e.g. from 5 Mbit/s to 2.5 Mbit/s.
