Overview
MAYAH's new IOCAST series of HD/SD en/decoders & multirate encoders take MPEG-4 H.264 to the next level of picture quality and performance. The combination of line efficient encoding for economic solutions and application orientated functionality, like the variety of resolutions and bit rates, provide almost endless possibilities. From SNG/ENG to distribution, from Web-Streaming to IPTV. IOCAST complies with a wide range of applications in the fields of broacasting, telecommunication, IPTV, web-streaming, tele-learning as well as video conferencing. Supporting MPEG-4 SP, ASP and AVC/H.264, the IOCAST family meets the requirements of broadcasting and corporate applications.	Interoperability with a wide range of STBs and Players is achieved through the use of standardized protocols: RTP, RTMP, RTSP for Quicktime Streaming in the Web or for 3GPP (mobile 3G), Flash Streaming, MPEG-TS, FEC and others. The video signals can have resolutions ranging from QCIF (176x144) to SD (720x574/480) as well as 1280x720 (720p) and 1920x1080 (1080p). Thanks to MPEG-TS, Flash and Quicktime Streaming, the IOCAST is fully interoperable with a wide variety of hardware devices and software players; whether QuickTime, Windows Media or VLC player as well as various PDAs, smartphones, DVB-H receivers and set-top boxes.
IOCAST 9002/9005 HD En-/Decoder The IOCAST 900x models are designed to bring the video stream quality to the HD-level. The MAYAH encoding engine has been optimzed in terms of video quality and low latency. IOCASTs are the perfect devices to contribute or distribute optimal HD video quality in spite of limited bandwidth capacities.	IOCAST 9020 Multirate Encoder One signal – multiple output streams. IOCAST 9020 Multirate Encoders are able to generate up to eight output streams, individually variable in bit rate, resolution, frame rate and transport protocol.
