MAYAH is supporting Radio Chikuni www.chikuniradio.org, located in Chikuni mission station close to the Monze area in Zambia whose main objectives are:

christian teaching
upholding the Tonga culture
school radio with lessons from grade 1 to 9
providing magazine style radio for the community adressing local topics and typical problems
playing traditional and modern Tonga music

eine welt The relationship between Radio Chikuni and MAYAH has been initiated by ewe (www.eine-welt-engagement.de), which is an organisation located in Dueren, Germany and Monze, Zambia supporting a variety of projects, such as computer school for girls in Mamba or a solar panel project for obtaining drinking water in Kalasowe. Radio Chikuni is now using three Flashman Digital Audio Recorders donated by MAYAH.
